Dear God, my heart is heavy with regret as I acknowledge that I’ve let you down once more. Despite my promise to steer clear of drugs, I faltered and gave in to temptation. I am acutely aware of the gravity of my actions and the sin I’ve committed. I find myself standing on a precarious edge, struggling with the guilt and the shame. I am deeply sorry and I humbly ask for your forgiveness.

Guide me, Lord, in rediscovering the strength and willpower to make the right choices moving forward. Help me reclaim the path of righteousness and healing, away from the snares that have tripped me up. Your grace has lifted me before; I pray it lifts me again as I seek to make amends and honor my commitments.
