Dear God,

I’m writing this letter to say I’m truly sorry for letting You down again.

Lord, I deeply regret drinking, and I don’t understand why I keep setting myself up to fail.

Please, Father, forgive me for this sin.

Help me to stay sober and fully understand that I cannot drink at all. I recognize the problem now—because I don’t do it all the time, it becomes too easy to fall back into the trap.

Heavenly Father, please don’t stop loving me because I’ve stumbled. I need Your strength to help me help myself.

Please guide me to the church where You want me to be. Surround me with Christian people who will support me in my walk with You.

I love You, Lord, with all my heart.
