A Prayer of Gratitude and Surrender
Dear GOD,
I know that as humans, we have failed You time and time again. And yet, in our moments of struggle, we often ask, Why me? or Where is GOD? But the truth is, You have always been there—it is us who run away.
But today, GOD, I don’t come to question or to ask—I come to say THANK YOU.
Thank You for never forgetting me, for standing by me in both the easy times and the hard times. On those cold nights when I feel alone, I know You are watching over me, wrapping me in Your love and protection. Even when I fall short, You forgive me. Even when I doubt, You remind me that I am loved. Even when I struggle, You continue to provide for me, supplying my daily needs.
Because without You, GOD, we are nothing.
I am not alive today simply because my mother gave birth to me 29 years ago, but because You willed me to be here. Because You have a purpose for my life. And for that, I am grateful.
So here I am, GOD. Use me, guide me, mold me into who You created me to be.
Thank You, GOD.
