Japan Sumo Association Chairman Kitanoumi visited the Niigata family home of Takashi Saito, aka Tokitaizan, to apologize for the junior wrestler?s death in June in Tokitsukaze stable lodgings.

This is the first time Kitanoumi has apologized to Saito?s family as association head.

Kitanoumi offered his condoces to Saito?s family and made an offering of white lilies.
