To my faithful father

Heavenly Father and Loving Jesus Christ,

Today, I’m reminded that my current situation is not my permanent situation—and I thank You for that truth, Lord.

Let my heart be filled with lighthearted joy, and free me from all forms of anxiety and unease.
Lift me up, Lord, and lead me wherever You want us to go.

When I feel alone, even in a crowd,
Or cold in the middle of a busy world—
Let me feel full with You by my side.
Let Your presence be my warmth, my comfort, my confidence.

Help me catch up with my work, and do each task with gladness and purpose.
Fill my efforts with energy and my heart with gratitude.

Thank You for Your ready forgiveness,
For loving me even when I slip,
And for surprising me with blessings I don’t deserve.

Hold me by the hand, Father.
Walk with me, shield me, guide me.

I love You. I need You.
And I trust You.

In Jesus’s holy and sacrificial name, I pray.
