Help Me Start Again

I know I have done wrong, and I am asking for Your forgiveness. I feel sorry for my choices, and I want to start again.

Please help me move away from anything that is not good for me. Help me choose what is right, even when it is hard. Give me strength when I feel weak and peace when I feel worried.

I believe You can help me become better. Please stay close to me and guide me each day.

Tips for Writing a Confession Prayer

A confession prayer is a personal way to speak to God about guilt, mistakes, weakness, and the desire to be forgiven. It can be short or long, but it should come from a sincere heart.

1. Speak directly to God

Begin with “Dear God," “Heavenly Father," or “Lord Jesus." Use words that feel natural to you.

2. Admit your mistakes

Be clear that you are sorry. You can mention the areas where you feel you have fallen short.

3. Show a desire to change

Confession is not only about regret. It is also about wanting to grow, turn away from sin, and live better.

4. Ask for peace

End by asking God to give you peace, guidance, and strength to move forward.
