How To Get Over A Broken Heart

forgetting my wife’s 30th birthday

A Heartfelt Apology to My Love

My Love,

Please forgive me for forgetting your 30th birthday. You know me I’ve never been great at remembering dates or expressing myself in writing. But I know that’s not why you married me, and it’s certainly no excuse for forgetting something as important as this day your special day.

I realize how much this meant to you, how you envisioned us celebrating together, making memories, and planning our future dreams. You deserved that moment, and I let you down. I can’t take back the mistake, but I can promise you this I will never forget again. I will write it down, set reminders, and do whatever it takes to make sure your birthday is always a priority. You are my heart, my world, and I want you to always feel loved, cherished, and celebrated.

I had a million things on my mind, but none of them should have come before you. I deeply regret this, and I am truly sorry. I know actions speak louder than words, so I will show you every single day how much I love and appreciate you.

And to prove my sincerity, I will write this down 30 times as a reminder to myself. But more importantly, I will make it up to you in every way that I can.

Please forgive me, my love. I will do better because you deserve nothing less.

With all my heart,
