Dear God, I am not proud of the mistakes I have made. I am overwhelmed with guilt and fear. I don’t understand how I got to this place… but it can’t be me.

Am I bad? My anxiety and overthinking has sabotaged me. I wish I could erase these things with a snap of a finger. I need you to speak to me. Tell me what’s next. I pray to you to hear you. I am lost. I am scared. I am ashamed. There are bigger things in life than these mistakes I know.

But to the people I have let down… I just don’t want to deal with it. I can’t believe it. I pray for your advice in this and I also pray you bless me with the next chapter – in this case, a new career/job. I pray and plead to you, God, to please grab my hand and speak to me in the way that I know it’s coming from you. I am asking for your help. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
