i can forgive now

I carried the pain for a long time. I held on to the hurt, the disappointment, and the unanswered questions. But today, something in me has changed.

I can forgive now.

Not because everything is fixed or forgotten, but because I no longer want the pain to control me. Forgiveness doesn’t mean what happened was okay it means I am choosing peace over bitterness, freedom over resentment, and healing over holding on.

This forgiveness is not a gift to the past, but a door to my future.

I release you. I release myself.
And I move forward with grace.
