I handled things poorly, and for that, I owe you an apology

Mike

I hope this letter finds you well. I have been doing a lot of reflecting and soul-searching, and I feel compelled to reach out and apologize to you for the way I handled things in the past.

I realize now that I acted poorly and let my emotions get the best of me. I said and did things that were hurtful and disrespectful, and for that, I am truly sorry. I take full responsibility for my actions and I understand the pain and distress I may have caused you.

I want you to know that I have learned from my mistakes and I am committed to being a better person moving forward. I regret the way I treated you and I ask for your forgiveness.

I understand if you are not ready to forgive me and I respect your feelings. But I hope that maybe one day, you can find it in your heart to let go of any anger or resentment you may hold towards me.

I am truly sorry for any pain I have caused you and I wish you nothing but peace and happiness in your life. Thank you for taking the time to read this letter.
