Please forgive me

Dear Lord, It has been almost 10 years since my last confession.

During this time I committed the deepest sin ever and feel I have been punished ever since.

3 years ago, I opted to have an abortion. I have beat myself up over this since then and cannot take it anymore. I am truly remorseful of this act and need to be forgiven for this.

My life has been utterly tragic since that day and the only way to move forward is to confess this sin and be forgiven.

Please Lord forgive me my sins as I promise to never commit this sin again.
