I ask that you forgive me

Show me how to serve others better.

My God,

I come to you with a humble heart, seeking guidance on how to better serve others. I know that serving others is one of the greatest ways to show love and compassion, but I often struggle to know how to do so effectively. I ask for your wisdom and insight in this area.

Show me how to see the needs of those around me and guide me in how to meet those needs in a way that brings glory to you. Help me to be a vessel of your love and grace, and to serve others selflessly and wholeheartedly.

Open my eyes to opportunities to serve, and give me the courage and strength to step out in faith and make a difference in the lives of those in need. Show me how to be a beacon of your light in a world that is often filled with darkness.

I trust in your guidance and know that with you by my side, I can serve others better than I ever thought possible. Thank you for your constant love and support.

Amen.

How to Write a Letter to God When You Need Help

Sometimes people write a letter to God because they feel lost, afraid, guilty, or overwhelmed. A letter can become a private prayer where you release your emotions and ask for comfort. You do not have to hide your pain from God.

1. Start with your true feelings

Write what you are feeling right now. You can say, “God, I feel tired," “I need help," or “Please guide me."

2. Explain what you are facing

Share the situation clearly. Write about what hurts, what worries you, or what you do not understand.

3. Ask for strength and peace

Pray for courage, healing, patience, protection, and wisdom to make the right choices.

4. Close with hope

End the letter by asking God to stay close to you and help you move forward with faith.
