Help me discern truth from falsehood.

God,

I come to you seeking guidance and clarity in discerning truth from falsehood. In a world full of confusion and deception, I ask for your divine wisdom to navigate through the lies and deceit that surround me.

Help me to see through the illusions and distractions that may lead me astray from your truth. Open my eyes and ears to your voice, so I may discern the difference between what is genuine and what is deceitful.

Fill my heart with your discernment and grant me the strength to stand firm in my beliefs, even when faced with opposition or skepticism. Let your truth be my guiding light, leading me down the path of righteousness and integrity.

I trust in your infinite wisdom and know that with your help, I can distinguish between what is true and what is false. Thank you for always being there to guide and protect me.

In your holy name, I pray.

Amen.

How to Write a Letter to God When You Need Help

Sometimes people write a letter to God because they feel lost, afraid, guilty, or overwhelmed. A letter can become a private prayer where you release your emotions and ask for comfort. You do not have to hide your pain from God.

1. Start with your true feelings

Write what you are feeling right now. You can say, “God, I feel tired," “I need help," or “Please guide me."

2. Explain what you are facing

Share the situation clearly. Write about what hurts, what worries you, or what you do not understand.

3. Ask for strength and peace

Pray for courage, healing, patience, protection, and wisdom to make the right choices.

4. Close with hope

End the letter by asking God to stay close to you and help you move forward with faith.
