I ask God to forgive me

We are all suffocating

I come to You with a weary heart, seeking peace within my own family. You know our struggles, our burdens, and the weight we carry each day. Lord, I lift up my daughter to You—she is a single parent, facing so many challenges, and it pains me to see her struggle. She has been dealing with car trouble for the past two weeks, and I know that frustration and worry are weighing her down.

Lord, I ask that You lead her to turn to You, to seek Your help and guidance in her own words. She needs to learn to trust You, to stand on her own two feet, and to know that You will never forsake her. Help me, Lord, to step back where I need to, to love and support her without enabling her. Give her the strength and wisdom to navigate her challenges with faith in You.

I also pray for my husband. Help him to understand my heart, that I am caught in the middle. I love my daughter deeply, and I love my husband. Please, Lord, bring understanding, patience, and compassion into our home. Let us be united, not divided, and remind us that love does not have to choose sides.

Jesus, lay Your hands upon us all. Breathe Your peace into our hearts because, without You, we are suffocating. We need You, Lord—we need Your presence, Your wisdom, and Your unfailing love to guide us through.

Thank You for hearing my prayer, Lord. I trust in You.
