How Do You Clear Anger, Disappointments, Regrets And Misses From The Past?

Dear world

Dear World,

As I sit down to write this letter, I realize that it is not just ink on paper but a reflection of a long and complicated relationship. You have been both a stage for joy and a battleground of sorrow, a place of connection and a source of solitude.

I’ve felt the weight of disappointment, bitterness, and frustration towards you at various times in my life. There have been moments when I’ve questioned your fairness, your intentions, and even your very essence. Whether through personal encounters that left scars, societal norms that felt like chains, or events that shattered the collective soul, you’ve given me reasons to be angry, to lose faith, and to harden my heart.

But today, I choose a different path. I choose forgiveness.

I forgive you, not because you’ve asked for it or because you deserve it, but because I do. I forgive you so that I can be free, free from the chains of anger, resentment, and bitterness that have held me back. Holding onto these negative emotions only poisons my own spirit; it doesn’t change the realities that exist within your boundaries.

I understand now that you are not a singular entity but a collective result of billions of individual choices, actions, and circumstances. You are complex, evolving, and inherently imperfect. Just like me.

By forgiving you, I also make room for hope. Hope that tomorrow might be better, that the next person I meet might prove me right, and that even in the darkness, there are pinpricks of light.

This forgiveness also comes with a newfound commitment to be a force for good within your bounds. While I cannot control your actions, I can control mine. I can choose kindness, generosity, and love, even when faced with their opposites.

I release this forgiveness into the universe, imagining it as a dove taking flight a symbol of peace and new beginnings. May this act be the first step in a journey of healing, both for myself and for anyone else who has struggled with your complexities.

As I close this chapter and pen down my final words, I feel lighter and ready to face you anew. May we both grow in wisdom, compassion, and understanding from this point forward.

We forget that this earth was not given to us by our parents, but t to us by our children…

With forgiveness and renewed hope,
