Sorry, My Ex-Girlfriend
I’ve thought a lot about us — about what went right, what went wrong, and the things I wish I could have done differently. And though time has passed, one thing still feels important to say:
I’m sorry.
I’m sorry for the ways I hurt you — through my words, actions, or lack of understanding. I know I didn’t always listen the way I should have. I know I could have been more patient, more present, and more kind.
You gave a part of your heart to me, and I didn’t always honor it the way you deserved. For that, I carry regret. Not because I want to go back, but because I believe people deserve to hear the truth — especially when it comes with respect.
Our relationship meant something. It helped shape who I am today. I’ve learned from the mistakes, grown from the pain, and carry those lessons with me.
Wherever you are now, I hope life is treating you well. I hope you’ve found peace, joy, and someone who sees the light in you. You deserve nothing less.
Thank you for being a part of my story.
